Dateline: Ulster County Fair
The team got together yesterday morning. The warp has already been spun and dyed by two team members. We are sett at 8epi., warped on in a simple twill and we’ve run a few practice skeins (Thank you L. for springing to have the fleece washed - what luxury). The day was beautiful and the Wool Room will have a fresh coat of paint - courtesy of the Fairgrounds maintenance guys.
We’ve divided up the work load. Carding, spinning, plying, wheel bobbin to shuttle bobbin transfer, and the weaving.
Note to self - bring a camera. There are dogs and events and scenery to appreciate.
This should be a hoot.
