It’s Fashion Week here in everybody’s not-home town.
RKO (Rakishly Knit Objects) Studios had a School of Finished Objects - could it be possible?
Welcome to Mssr. Claude Raines’ Atelier d’tricotuese temporisez (procrastinators) and runway modeling.
Bienvenue et voilå!
L’Accessoire’;

Ze teaser, Salad de Chausette. We ‘av ze Step and ze Bunny hop. Ze very ting zat all knitters are wearing in ze tents zis week. Zere being no heat in Bryant Park to speak of.
Our first model sports une tasseled Chapeau Pour Rire.

Bon! To put it on iz to smile. See our lovely model smile? Zo pretty. Zo happy.

A bientot ma cherie!
For ze zexy bon vivant and Mademoiselle Golightly wannabe we present ze reincarnation of Joan Vass’ (Vogue ‘98) basket weave cou de tortue,

high enough to hide ze cou de poulet if one is perhaps a Madame instead of a Mademoiselle. Mwah! A Little Black Sweater. Perfection! Mam’selle appears zo zophistiqué, no?
For our more Nordique and cozy confort by ze fire avec ze fuzzy wuzzy chat d’maison we show kimonoesque mohair.

Ribbings are double creating balance and drape, if no visible means of closure.
Nous Continuons,
Un transcontinental mariage of Merino and debonair exotic Yak d’Asie du Sud-Est,
“Super Yak” the warmth enclosing our model zo clearly apparent, no? Shangrila la la!
While not quite ze year of ze Yak, ze piece d’resistance (Ma Tant Bente was a member of ze Resistance, Vive la Bente! Vive la Yak!)

Hand spun 2 ply novelty Snow Yak and Targhee in a small cropped workers sweater. Vive la Workers!

Mercie Mon Choux! Tous trésor!
